[Please note that this is in progress...]
Hello there. I am typing this as of May 20th, 07'. I will be finding out things inside and out of PSO that will help make the readers of this, the afformentioned, L33TZER.
This is divided into many steps and catagories so bare with me as I do this. Also, I may put up movies on how to deal with the boss monsters quickly, and effectively.
==============
Common Terms
==============
HU - Hunter
RA - Ranger
FO - Force
Cmode - Challenge mode
TTF - Towards the Future [ Common boss rush mission. "Overview" of Ep1 ]
GTFO - Literally, get the f**k out. ( I add this because when I first heard it I had absolutely no idea what it meant. )
Rez - Resurrect or revive a fallen ally.
H - Hard
VH - Very Hard
Ult - Ultimate Mode
Hax/H@x/Dupesnax/Dupe/Duped - Hacked weapons, illegitamately obtained.
NOLed/NOL'd - To have a character changed into a Lv5 Single player quest character called NOL by use of a Proxy or external program. This isn't much of a problem in a lobby but it can overwrite character data in a room. If there is ever an outbreak of NOLings, make sure all your rooms are passworded and you only let your closest friends in.
==============
Common Keyboard/Alt + ? Commands
==============
Alt + Backspace - Allows a quick exit of PSO:BB
Alt + P - BOOGIE!!
Alt + R - Clap
Alt + T - Kissie! ;3
F1 - Display help menu OR see below for same details.
F4 - Mag Window.
F5 - Guild Card Stuff
F6 - Mail
F9 - Team Chat
( Press Alt + Shift + a Letter/Number in a LOBBY ONLY to do the opposite gender action. )
==============
Street Smarts
==============
Now...
1) Do not hog the items. If you get a HU-only item and you're a RA with a HU in your party and they ask what it was, you say what it was and it really wasn't very rare and they want it, please just do them a favor and give it to them. I could imagine someone holding onto a SJS if they found one by some ungodly chance but if a new player needs those Musashis, think about them before your little 10 TPs.
2) Share the wealth. If someone needs something you have that you don't need, give it to them. It'll make their travels easier and always remember, there is not a single player on PSO that wasn't there once and would've liked to have had it. Also, you could make a friend! And as corny as this sounds, the only 13-star weapon in PSO is friendship.
3) Just don't be an not a very nice person. This speaks for itself, if you're not feeling well or are in a bad mood, alt + backspace yourself outta PSO or just leave the room and solo. You never want to lose friends or have people hate you just because you had a bad day.
4) Weapons with 100+%'s are HACKED. Okay?
5)Don't call anyone a noob. Is that good with you? It's good with me then. No one likes to hear this kind of condescending bullnuts and it's completely uncalled for under any circumstance. I have no tolerance for people who call others "Noobs","Nubs" or any other form of calling someone a new player when they obviously are just having some problems. Get some understanding and some brains people, honestly. You were there at one time too!... Okay, so enough rambling on...
[More to come...]
